After our lovely time in Croatia it was off to Messina, Sicily! What was nice about this stop, was although I could not actually go to Calabria I could see it across the water. Sicily is the italian island closest to the tip of the boot of Italy. In that tip of the boot, is Calabria where my Dad's side of the family is from. The day was sunny and warm, the people were friendly, and the cannolis? Forgetaboutit!
Day at Sea- The next 5 photos were taken on our day at sea. We wanted to show you how close to the coast of Italy we were at all times.. we we just far enough away to be on "open" waters so the casino and duty free shops could be open!
SICILY! <3
