Mini- Vacation Part II

Matt and I checked into the hotel and decided to have dinner on the resort. We went to Pullman Place which is their version on a steakhouse. It was very good! Then we went down to the pool/hot tub and relaxed for the evening.

We woke up super early on friday because we had our tour to Innsbruck Austria. I was able to snap a couple shots of the sunrise over the mountains! BEAUTIFUL! We took the tour bus with the other guests to Innsbruck. I couldn't resist taking pictures out of the bus window of the beautiful scenery around us.

Matt and I boarded the bus for the city of Innsbruck with the rest of the guests. I couldn't resist taking pictures out of the bus window of the beautiful scenery! We were lucky enough to see a mountain goat along the way.

The first stop on our tour was of the Swarovski Crystal art exhibit. It was created to celebrate 100 years for the company and artists from all over the world created installations made of crystals. It was interesting to say the least!

This is the outside of the art exhibit. It is a man made mountain called "The Giant" with crystal eyes

After the art exhibit we walked around the city of Innsbruck on our own. We had a great time...but spent WAY too much money. Matt bought and entire mens lederhosen set and I got italian leather boots with rabbit fur trim. Soo comfy.

When we went back to the hotel we decided to eat dinner in down town Garmisch at a place called Fraundorfer. It is known for its traditional Bavarian cuisine and in the evenings after 7:00 they have traditional german "slap dance" performances and music. Their servers wear dindels and lederhosen. It was yummy!! We ended our evening back in the hot tub to relax our muscles after all of the walking!
