Falling into Fall

Fall has officially begun in Germany. Sadly, our summers and springs tend to be very short, so now begins the long rainy season before the snow. Matt and I had to rotate our wardrobes to put away most of our spring and summer clothes (a small reserve left out for our cruise to the Adriatic and Mediterranean  in 2 weeks!!) and bring out our winter coats.

We have been enjoying the beginning of fall activities, the first we participated in was the Hitscherhof Pumpkin Festival.

Pumpkin Festival!

We enjoyed a great day with friends, shopping from local market vendors, trying yummy food (they had pumpkin bratwurst!), and wine. Naturally we bought some pumpkins to bring home!!

Local Vender's Market

Matt enjoyed the homemade cheese.. he bought 22 euro worth!

Cool wine bottle tree

There was a corn maze, flowers for sale, pumpkins, and more!

Man making baskets right there! They were stunning

The town really decorated their homes with pumpkins

Beautiful garden

Wine and beer!

Hello Horsey!
