So we are in Germany... now what?

We have been staying in Spangdalem in an apartment on the AFB. Here are some pictures to see our temporary home before we head to our house! Enjoy!

Willkommen nach Deutschland!

Well after 5 hours at the airport and a 7 hour flight in a plane with little to no air conditioning.. it is official..Matt & I live in Germany. After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived into Ramstein AFB on July 18th 2011. This is the beginning of the next three years and we couldnt be more excited.

We were met at the airport by one of our sponsors and we are so lucky to have them! They have made this transition from stateside to europe feel seamless. We were able to get a temporary apartment at Spangdahlem that allowed the dogs to stay with us. It has MORE than enough space (3 bedrooms to be exact) and quite comfortable. We will move into our new house in a few days once we have some loaner furniture delivered.

We were able to go to our new house to check it out (due to our amazing sponsors loaning us their car) and were honestly shocked how nice it was. See..we rented this house basically site unseen and we got lucky!

Hopefully this blog will be my way to update you all about where we go and what we see, since the time difference makes it difficult to call home as much as we would like.

This is my first time doing a blog so please bare with me. I hope you check back and see what we are up to or offer suggestion of where we should visit. Without further adieu...here...we...go! :)
